Happy Birthday Grandma Rose

Happy Birthday to one of the greatest ladies out there, my Mother-in-law Rose. 

 I love her so very much. I appreciate the love and support she has given to me over the past few years.

Garden of the Gods

Mason and I thought we would take off and go see what the local canyons had to offer. It was worth it.

The cute little guy that took the picture said, " I am so sorry I just couldn't get that pesky rock out of the way." :c)

Overlook view of Garden of the God's. This is where we were when the little elderly women told us if we wanted to see a beautiful canyon we needed to go and visit Utah. She was too funny. :c)

It was a great hike despite it being 95 degrees out. 

We had wonderful time just enjoying one anothers company and being out in the beautiful outdoors.

Meeting Aunt Marcia....

The highlight of our trip was being able to meet my Aunt Marcia. My father's younger sister, who lives in Colorado Springs. She has not seen me since I was a baby and of coarse I don't remember her. She and I have been able to connect through face-book. However, that is not quite the same. It was so nice to connect in person. We had such a wonderful visit.
