Every year Kenya's skating team has Skating with Santa. The cost to get in is $2 and a can of food. All proceeds and donations go to the local food bank.This is what Kenya asked to do following her baptism and for her birthday party. It is so much fun and the kids really have a great time. I only got one partial picture of "Santa" though. This "Santa seemed to be way more interested in the cute girls at the snackbar then skating with the kids(: Mrs. Claus would have been mad!!!
I haven't skated in years, but it makes you use muscle's that you forget you even have. Walking was difficult the next day and I about biffed it walking to my seat in Capitol Theatre. Despite the pain, we had a wonderful evening and enjoyed being able to spend time together, while helping out a good cause.
