Mount Pleasant has a Mountain Man Rendezvous at the park. They sell the best jewelry there and the kids have a ball looking at the homemade toys, carved knives, arrowheads etc. We spent some time at the park and then walked over to the cemetary to see Uncle Hal's headstone (After three years they finally have it finished) The gentlemen that carved it did an amazing job and everyone in the family felt it was worth the wait for Uncle Hal to have is headstone the way he would want it.
The rest of the day was spent enjoying Nana's incredible yard and one anothers company. There is nothing more precious then being able to create some great memories.
and of course no fourth of July is complete without the fireworks.
I hope that everyone had the opportunity to enjoy this day with friends and family. There is no better way to celebrate this great country then to celebrate it with the ones you love.
