It never seems like Christmas until we get together to decorate gingerbread houses. this year we were a little worried about it happening due to the snow. But we all were able to get together safely and enjoy one anothers company, while having fun with the kids. We did miss Katie, who was at her first Winter Formal and Hailey who was doing a service project. As well, as Keygan, Chloe, Calvin, Kaitlyn and Katyana who were unable to make it. Otherwise we had a full group. It is so much fun to see the different personalities come out in the way that each of the kids designs their houses. It is a huge mess but the kids have a great time. I wouldn't miss doing it for the world. I love to be able to provide these precious memories for each one of these wonderful kids. It is something that they look forward to and always say that it is a part of their Christmas memories.
"I promise that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to your families, to your children, your grandchildren, and others, on through the generations. Each of us is important to those who are near and dear to us and as our posterity reads of our life's experiences, they, too, will come to know and love us. And in that glorious day when our families are together in the eternities, we will already be acquainted."
