What a wonderful weekend. After Guido returned safely from his scouting adventure. We headed to Mt. Pleasant. Every Mother's day it is a tradition for my entire family to go down and help Nana get ready for summer. We clean out all of the flower beds, plant her flowers, get the gardens ready to be planted, scrub and paint lawn furniture, drain and clean the pond and put out the many bird baths, feeders and fountains she has placed around her beautiful yard and most importantly~Hang the hammock.
Now some mothers might not consider this a relaxing or enjoyable day for them. But personally there is not one other thing in the world I would rather be doing.

Before and After ~ the remodeling is finally done...

After many months of blood, sweat, and tears the remodeling is finished. Or at least finished enough to be inhabitable. There are a few touch ups still left to do, but for the most part it is done. My little brothers did an amazing job. They both are incredible craftsman and should be really proud of the job they have done.
