My heart is so full this morning that I just had to take a moment to share.I am feeling so thankful and blessed for all of the little and big things that I have in my life right now.
Of coarse I am thankful for the usual things such as the roof over my head and food to eat.
But I am so blessed to have such an amazing son. He hurt his foot yesterday and when the doctor asked if we had a pair of crutches, He said " Oh, I can use my mom's. Then we won't have to spend money for any more." The doctor laughed, considering there is only a six inch height difference. Luckily he is going to be able to do without them.
I am so blessed to have such amazing friends at work. Some of them have been so patient with me as I am learning my new job. Others so patient as I have been an emotional wreck about leaving my old job. Either way, I am lucky to have a great support system.
and last of all my ward friends and sisters whom, knowing I had to rush Guido of to the hospital stepped in to take over my responsibilities during our stake activity. Thank you, I will make it up to you all somehow =c)

and the baby daddy is....
I have observed many a talk show this week. Way too many talk shows, I have seen about enough of them to have had my fill for this year and probably next. Although I should turn them off they are like a train and you have to keep on watching to see what happens.
What brought me to this place? Sunday, I woke up and started to get ready for church. But then I felt like I was hit by a truck. I went back to bed and there I stayed until Monday night, when Eric got home from work he dragged me out of bed and to the doctor's.
Temp- check, chest pain -check, body aches- check.
You have the flu..No work for the week...$100.00 worth of prescriptions
Go home and go to bed!!!
Well that is easier said then done. I can only stay put for so long then bordom sets in. So I started searching for entertainment and that's where I found it. Those lovely daytime talk shows, those "Whose your babies daddy?" and "My Mom dresses like a hooker"
Like I said they where like a train wreck but they also did something else. They also made me very thankful for those I do have in my life. So today on this Thankful Thursday I reflect on my own "Baby Daddy" Eric, my love, my husband who goes out of his way to treat me like a princess. While I have been sick he has seen to my every need, making sure that I have drinks and am comfortable and warm enough. I am so blessed he does this when I am not well, but he treats me this way all of the time. How thankful I am to have such an amazing husband.
I love you honey!!!

Holy.......Batman!!!!
I have some amazing people in my life...but then I am sure many of you already know that. I am always shocked about how on the crappiest of days I will get texts, calls, and messages from several of these people. Somehow as if they know I need a little pick me up. Today, was one of those days.
Yesterday was a long day and today started out to look the same. However, as the morning went along I got a few phone calls, several texts and some facebook messages from friends and family. Then a few friends showed up and took me to lunch. I come home from work to a clean house, dinner made and a content family.
It seems as if there is some bat signal showing "Jenn is having a bad day, help her!" lighting up the sky.
Well if there is a signal, I am more then thankful for it and if it Heavenly Father sending a few blessings my direction I will take those too.

"Great moments often catch us unaware -- beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one."
Now some mothers might not consider this a relaxing or enjoyable day for them. But personally there is not one other thing in the world I would rather be doing.

The palest ink is better then the best memory....

I have never been good at keeping a journal. I have journals and they all start out great and then they fade. Kind of like that new years resolution that goes away mid-February, once the newness has worn off. I was looking through my journals on Sunday and do not think between them all I have 300 entries combined. I know that is terrible. But thanks to this blog I am keeping a better journal.
I am so thankful to have the ability and the technology that we do to be able to so easily record thoughts, memories, ideas. So bravo to me for reaching 300 entries and here's to the next!!!

"Better not take a dog on the space shuttle, because if he sticks his head out when you're coming home his face might burn up."
Whenever I go to pick Eric up from work I take Daisy along for the ride. I have never met a dog who loves car rides more and I absolutely love to take her along. She loves to sit in the front seat and look out the window.
It makes me smile to watch her make even the toughest of men melt when they see her at a stop light. She is the sweetest dog. Everyone loves her, my grandmother adores her, and so do most people that meet her, even the least of dog lovers.
She is so smart. We have had to do very little training. None of our houses have had gates or fences and she stays in the y
ard without them, she will stay at your side without a leash. If she has a leash on she will actually hold it in her mouth herself and she never had any problem with house training, it just happened.
The best of tricks is Eric has taught her to be sneaky. He will tell her to come here but to "Shh be sneaky", and she will crawl on her belly wherever her is. It is so funny.
Daisy and one of her many babies
So today as I was thinking about things I was thankful for, I had to give thanks to my beautiful four legged friend, who is not just a pet but is truly part of our family.

100,000 hours....
Many people hate their jobs, complaining about having to go to work. Talking about how horrible their boss is, how miserable the work they do might be or how mistreated they are. I am sure you know many people like that. I know I do.Now if you look at the 100,000 hours that is about how many hours the average person works or is involved in work related activities in their life time. Taking that into consideration that is a long time to be miserable.
I am blessed. I have a job that I am thankful everyday that I get to go to. I get to spend time with some amazing people. Yesterday, I got to go swimming in the Therapy Pool, today we went to participate in the Special Olympic Games. These are normal workdays for me.
So on this Thankful Thursday ~ I am thankful to have been to have found my place, to have discovered what I am supposed to be doing, and to have a great passion for making a difference in the lives of some very incredible people.
